Culture

At UAS, student life is not limited to classes and research: it also includes a rich and diverse artistic and cultural component. Students can participate in art workshops, theatre, music or dance clubs, as well as exhibitions and cultural events organised throughout the year. These activities promote creativity, personal development and open-mindedness, while strengthening the sense of belonging to the campus and cohesion among students.

Permanent artistic activities

Culture plays a central role in UAS’s teaching approach. Students can express their creativity through theatre, painting, music, calligraphy or photography workshops, and join themed clubs to develop their talents and share their passion. They also have the opportunity to participate in national art competitions and university festivals, enriching their cultural and personal experience.

Major events

Each semester, UAS offers its students a rich and varied cultural programme designed to stimulate creativity and artistic expression. Highlights include cultural week, photography exhibitions, concerts, plays performed by students, as well as themed evenings and literary debates. To showcase everyone’s talents, the university has created a dedicated space, ‘Campus Talents’, where students’ artistic creations are promoted and shared with the university community. These initiatives offer students a comprehensive cultural experience, fostering open-mindedness, self-confidence and cohesion on campus.
